The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada ("AmCham Canada") is a private, non-profit, membership organization that promotes the two-way flow of trade and investment between Canada and the United States.  The AmCham Canada Ontario Region is responsible for AmCham Canada activities in the Province of Ontario, excluding the National Capital Region (Ottawa).

AmCham Canada's membership is composed of large and small U.S. companies that operate within Canada, as well as Canadian companies of all sizes that sell to or operate in the United States. Companies and other organizations that share our interest in the expansion and enhancement of cross-border business opportunities are strongly encouraged to apply for membership. Membership in AmCham Canada is an asset to any company as it provides access to the one of the world's largest and most diverse network of businesses.

AmCham is affiliated with the United States Chamber of Commerce, which links with other chambers of commerce throughout the United States. AmCham Canada is independent from the governments of Canada and the United States.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada has a distinct role compared to the spectrum of local and regional Chambers of Commerce operating in Canada due to its focus on the U.S.-Canada trade relationship. AmCham Canada is specifically structured to service not only the numerous American companies operating in Canada, but also the interests of Canadian companies currently operating, or interested in operating, on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border.
